GM Julio Becerra
GM Julio Becerra – 2 time Cuban National Champion, and a 3 time member of the Cuban Olympiad team. Defected to the US in 1999, and moved to Florida in 2005, where he has won the State Championship 8 times. US Chess League MVP in 2006.


 

Hall of Fame GM John Fedorowicz
GM John Fedorowicz – US Jr. Champion in 1977 (tied), and 1978 (outright). Won the World Open (1977), US Open (1980), Cannes (1987), and Wijk an Zee (1990). US Chess Hall of Fame member. Coach of US Jr Olympiad team,  and US Olympiad team.

 

GM Lenderman
GM Alex Lenderman –Became a GM at 19. Won World Under 16 Championship in 2005. 2015 World Open winner. Gold Medal winner on Board #2 at the 2015 World Team Championship. Beat GM's Pavel Eljanov and Aryan Tari before losing on tie-break to GM Maxime Vachier-Lagrave at the 2017 World Cup. Helped the US to a fifth place finish in the 2019 World Team Championships.  

 

 

GM Daniel Naroditsky
GM Daniel Naroditsky – Won 2007 World Under 12 Championship. Ranked #1 in the US for his age 8 straight years. Won 2012 US Jr. Championship. 2014 Samford Fellowship recipient. Published Chess author.

GM Panchanathan
GM Magesh Panchanathan – Winner of World Open in 2005. Winner of the New Jersey Open 2015. Winner of Philadelphia Open, 2012. Winner of UTD Invitational Chess tournament, Dallas 2005. Winner of Badalona Open, Spain 2004. World junior coach to team India, 2009. Completed his Bachelors and Masters degree in Computer Science while playing chess for the University of Texas at Dallas.
IM Kiewra
IM Keaton Kiewra -   Two GM norms, attended Castle Camp as a camper in 2003. Won six national scholastic titles, attended UTD on chess scholarship, Nebraska state champion nine straight years. He moved to San Diego in 2013 and is the founder and manager of the San Diego Surfers team for the PRO Chess League.  Kiewra is very proud to have some extremely successful students who have won National Scholastic Titles, represented the U.S. at World Youth Championship events, and been consistently ranked toward the top of their age group nationally.
IM Korley
IM Kassa Korley  Half Danish, Duke alum (political science), 2nd highest rated African American player in the US (after GM Maurice Ashley).

 

IM Eric Rosen - Castle Camper from 2005 to 2007. Graduated from Webster University in 2017 with a B.A. in Interactive Digital Media. From 2015-2017, Eric competed for Webster University SPICE under the direction of former World Women's Champion, Susan Polgar. In 2009, he won the Junior Open. He won the K-12 US Championships in 2011 with a perfect 7-0 score. That same year, he came in 9th in the U18 World Championships in Brazil. In 2018, he unknowingly defeated Magnus Carlsen in the lichess Titled Area, which resulted in a front page appearance on Reddit

FM Robby Adamson - IM-elect, 1988 Denker Tournament of HS Champions winner. Has run Western Invitational Chess Camp since 2004. Coaches Catalina Foothills High School, which has won 10 national titles since 2004.

FM Giannatos
FM Peter Giannatos – went from 589 to 2000+ in 4 years. Founder and Executive Director of the Charlotte Chess Center and Scholastic Academy. Earned the FM title in 2017. 
LM Tillis
LM Bryan Tillis – Full time chess teacher for 7 years in the West Palm Beach school system. Author of a chess instruction book for beginners, Become a Chess ChampionManager of the Miami Champions Pro Chess League Team and Founder of Palm Beach Chess.
